Safari Grill Ottawa respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you order from us, why, and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, phone number, email address, order details, notes and, for delivery, your address. We do not see or store your full card details — payments are handled by Stripe.
How we use it
To prepare and hand off your order, contact you about it, arrange delivery through our delivery partner, send receipts, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers needed to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe), our ordering and delivery partner (RyvePool) and our address lookup provider. They may only use it for that purpose.
Retention
We keep order records only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law (for example, tax records).
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or withdraw consent for non-essential uses, by calling us or visiting the restaurant. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your information.
